I received several questions and dog lovers all over the world have one burning question in mind. They all want to know some simple and easy steps that work.
So I came up with a 10 step easy to follow plan that will help you train your dog stop barking.
Step 1:
The dog begins to bark, scold him with a firm "No"!
If the dog barks again, take a spray bottle filled up with luke warm water, and using a displeased voice, and repeat "No."
The tone of your voice is very important.
A person with a weak tone of voice and a weak body language will get a very different response than a person that is very assertive and harsh in his or her voic tone.
In any case your dog may repeat barking but do not give up. Just stay calm and repeat your negative-toned "No" from above.
Don't ever slap your dog unless it's part of a fight to break up a struggle with another pet or person.
Some people think that using a rolled up paper to make a loud noise may help your dog to stop barking. This method is rarely effective and often brings negative results.
Scaring your dog is not recommended at all.
Stay away from using newspapers and journals and never slap your dog.
Step 2:

Check your pet's basic needs: hunger, thirst or elimination. Your dog might be trying to tell you something.

Step 7:
